SMG has been the management company for the Sioux Falls Arena and the Orpheum Theater for over 20 years.
The relationship with Sioux Falls began in 1985 when under the name Ogden Allied began their management contract with the City of Sioux Falls. Ogden Allied was acquired by SMG in 2001 . The company began an active role in the restoration and management of the Orpheum Theater in 2003.
Over the years, SMG has promoted and managed almost 3,000 events at the two locations.

Drop off donations at any Sioux Falls Lewis or Sunshine store. We’ll also be accepting donations at any Stampede or Skyforce Game. You’ll be helping out your neighbors PLUS get a chance to win tickets to the Alan Jackson Concert March 26th. 20 pairs of tickets will be given away!
The Orpheum Theater opened in 1913 as a vaudeville house and seats just under 700. The elegant and beautifully preserved theatre served in this capacity until 1954, when the Community Playhouse group acquired the Orpheum for its home.
Known for its superb acoustics, the theater receives over 100,000 visitors each year, and the events there include plays, concerts, community events and private rentals.
The Orpheum Theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
